It’s Ace again back with some news on Destiny Islands. If any of you have visited the site recently you may have noticed that there is a small bar under the main navigation that either says “login / register” if you are not logged in, or if you are logged in it will say “Welcome, [your username]“, and show your avatar next to that. Well those are just the beginning stages of what is to come with Destiny Islands new updates. Although we are still working on page content, we have added this nifty feature so that whenever you are browsing the site you can easily login / get to your profile.

As many of you may have noticed, Destiny Islands main site was launched a little while ago. Kingdomkid and I are the main Administrators of the site and have been trying to find time to add our content into it, but there just isn’t enough time in the day to do it. So if you are interested in helping with the content (and are not a site staff already), please be aware that we are looking for Site Staff applications for people interested. If you want more information, you can always check out our jobs page on the main site. We are always looking for new help, even more than just content writers, so please feel free to apply for a position.

Yes you all have read right, the new Destiny Islands is finally open! The new design should compliment nicely with the other sections of the site, and we have also added a much sleeker interface to help you find exactly what you’re looking for. Hopefully you guys will enjoy the site as much as we do, although we are missing a lot of content on it. However we hope to get all of that up and working very very soon, so no worries there!

Although the new site is up and working, we are hoping to be adding a lot of new features to the site very, very soon. But as for right now, hope you guys enjoy the site! As some of you may have seen or heard of, some people have stumbled upon the new version of DI. While we are not trying to hide anything specific from you guys, there are just a few more updates that need to be taken care of before we can showcase the site live and allow all of you to visit. However being the nice guy that I am, I am going to offer some screens for you guys to check out. So below is a screen of the home page, About Us page, and a sample KH page as well. Well guys, we finally got it up! The Destiny Islands blog was down for a little while, but we finally got this great theme completed and got it up and running, live online! Thanks to everyone who has supported the site in our down time, and I am glad to say things are really starting to shape up. Now that we have the blog up and going we can start getting some nice news posted onto the home page of DI, once we get that up and running as well.
